Back in 2015 a group of residents went along to a planning meeting for the Enterprise House site. Three made spoken representations and there were a host of letters of complaint. All were ignored and consent was given to a development which is far too big for the plot and which will have implications for the area from putting a strain on the local drains and sewerage system to stretching already limited parking provision.
In response some of us where determined that together we could have a stronger voice to stand up for our neighbours and neighbourhood. We launched Barden Residents' Association with help from our friends across the Racecourse Sportsground at the Slade Area Residents Association using their organisation as our model.
