Despite assurances from the Mockford family who own the boatyard that there would be a full refurbishment of the site and that moorings would be available in late 2017 there has been no progress. We are aware of two sets of architects plans for the redevelopment of this area for high density flats. This environment has been identified as being at the worse possible risk of flooding and is totally unsuitable for housing, we will continue to monitor the situation. Another buyer has bought the small building at the end of the boatyard formerly owned by Phil Hibbs and that is being refurbished.
